Join us as Dr. James Glass presents an illustrated lecture on “Indianapolis in 1854.”
Dr. Glass is an architectural historian and historic preservation and heritage consultant who has studied the buildings of Indianapolis for much of the past 50 years.
Following the presentation, copies of both volumes of his new book, Architecture in Indianapolis, 1820-1920—will be available for purchase and signing.
The presentation is based on material in Volume 1 (1820-1900). Volume 2 covers the period 1900-1920.
Program registration does not include general admission to the museum.
