PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Stay connected with the stories of your state. Bring your own beverage and join us for a series of insightful conversations with some of Indiana’s most interesting scholars.

May is often thought of as the month of racing here in Indiana, so what better way to celebrate the upcoming race than by looking back at some highlights from The Indiana Historical Society collection with Susan Sutton, our Director of Access and Preservation. Learn about Robert Hamilton Scrogin, an official of the Hoosier Motor Club and editor of The Hoosier Motorist magazine. We will look at select items from our collection and discuss what early road trip adventures throughout the state looked like.
