Honor the legacies, tributes, and efforts of Hoosier women in times of conflict in commemoration of the United States 250th anniversary. This tour is intended to highlight and reflect on the often-unsung heroes of war – including the female soldiers, nurses, and first responders.
This approximately 2-mile, 2-hour long tour will take you on a path showcasing important stories of bravery and commitment using sites around Indianapolis as a springboard for conversation.
This tour will begin and end at the Indiana Historical Society. Parking comes at a first come first served basis at the Indiana Historical Society’s parking lot.
Please note that this tour will take you throughout downtown Indianapolis and potentially over uneven terrain.
In the case of inclement weather this tour will be cancelled, and tickets will be refunded. In the event of cancellation, an email will be sent out at least 2 hours before the time of the tour.
