Join us for a special interactive adventure game that allows you to travel the Old Northwest Territory as an explorer, trapper and trader.

Embark on a journey along the Wabash and Ohio rivers as you race your friends to safely navigate along the banks of the Wabash without losing crucial supplies or valuable furs. Carefully cross without injury, canoe collision, or death for the best possible score.

The game mimics the idea of fording a river in the classic “Oregon Trail” game. Instead of flocks of European colonizers and their Conestoga Wagons, the game is played out as one person in a canoe on the Wabash River who has entered the river, needs to then navigate down the river a bit avoiding rocks, limbs, shallows, rapids, collision, or injury, then exit the river at the end to take stock of any lost furs.Individuals can play alone or with friends to add more fun and unexpected events.

Be sure to visit Rivers, Rails, and Roads. This exhibit explores the experiences of those who travel these lands creating and breaking home through first-hand accounts, photographs, and oral histories.
