Don’t miss the premiere of Beyond El Barrio: Early Cultural Contributions to the City of Indianapolis, Seen and Unseen! This documentary reveals the rich history of El Barrio, a once-thriving Latino neighborhood in the 1960s.
Join us for a special evening that includes a film screening, a discussion with the creators about the neighborhood’s impact, and a reception to celebrate its lasting legacy in Indianapolis.
This program has been made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities, in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities, and from The Indianapolis Foundation, a CICF affiliate. #BeyondElBarrio #LatinoLegacy #IndianaHistory #SaveOurStories
